Bilgin Yachts announced that its 80-metre superyacht project Bilgin 263 has been launched from their metal works facility in Yalova and is now ready for outfitting. The yacht has in fact been moved to Bilgin Yachts’ brand-new outfitting facilities at Istanbul West Marina and carefully placed in one of the three 90m+ slots of the massive megayacht hangar.
Due for delivery at the mid of 2019, the vessel features exterior styling and naval architecture by the prolific office of Unique Yacht Design and a striking interior styling by H2 Design Studio. The interior boasts stunning arrangements in spacious volumes, with the indoor pool of the huge beach club spa area being a major feature.
She promises outstanding performances, both in terms of top speed and range efficiency thanks to a fully optimised and tank-tested hull. Two MTU 16V 4000 M63R engines will support the 80-metre vessel on her first sea trials and beyond, with a top speed of 18 knots at half-load displacement and a range at cruising speed of 5,000 miles.
“Today is another proud day for our company”, said İsmail Şengün, CEO at Bilgin, “We are happy to see how beautiful the boat is and really look forward to presenting her to the world in a couple of years.”
As with the second hull in the series, which is trailing her by six months, the 80-metre motor yacht will be the biggest superyacht to be built in Turkey to date.
