GARANT CM1 contour measuring instrument The new CNC-controlled GARANT CM1 contour measuring instrument stands out in the lower price segment due to its outstanding features and incredible traversing length of 190 mm.

Hoffmann Group is bringing a CNC-controlled contour measuring instrument with a 190-millimetre scanning range to market.

Clearly structured and powerful – this is the new CNC-controlled GARANT CM1 contour measuring instrument from Hoffmann Group. The new measuring system provides an extremely long traversing length of 190 millimetres and outstanding features for the lower price segment. A measuring computer with a full range of functions and an exclusive software package complete the set. The new GARANT CM1 contour measuring instrument was officially presented at EMO 2017.

Both the X and Z axes can be programmed and controlled via CNC with the new GARANT CM1 contour measuring instrument. The instrument is optionally available with a CNC-controlled Y-table. This means that a particularly large measuring volume is available for scanning workpieces. A clear design concept and an intelligent cable management system ensure that the instrument is arranged clearly and gives an uncluttered general impression.

The contour measuring instrument also scores points for user-friendliness. It is operated using software specifically developed for this system. The software’s user interface is designed in the style of common application software. This makes working with the instrument easy and intuitive. Optional additional functions allow the users to conveniently input and read out data and compare DXF data with the measured values. The top and bottom contours of a component can be recorded in just one measuring procedure with the aid of the “TopDown” additional function and two probe tips – this is both convenient and saves time.

The elegant GARANT CM1 contour measuring instrument stands steady on a solid granite base and delivers reliable results with its robust and visually incremental measuring system.

The new GARANT CM1 contour measuring instrument is available since the end of October 2017 and can be ordered now from the Hoffmann Group.
