The quatix 6 is equipped with high sensitivity GPS, barometer, altimeter and a 3 axle compass that provide several functions dedicated to the nautical’s world.
A friend on board
It doesn’t matter if you use a sail or a motor boat, the new Garmin quatix 6 it’s the ideal companion to live your passion on board, thanks to its dedicated functions and the total integration: in fact, it can be directly connected on wireless to any multifunctional compatible chartplotter, to control the copious sensors of the boat right on the watch and, thanks to GNT 10 transmitter receiver, connect it to all the NMEA 2000 networks.
This watch allow you to check speed, depth, temperature, the autopilot management, the saving of chartplotter’s waypoints directly on your wrist, the entertainment system Fusion and all the functions dedicated to sail navigation, tides informations, MOB function (man overboard) and much more besides.
quatix 6 supports the BlueChart g3 cartography that integrates the Garmin contents with the best of Navionics data and allows to use the improved functions of SailAssist™, like the Virtual Starting Line and the countdown regatta synchronisation with the Committee boat, to cut the starting line at the right time.
If linked to a Garmin satellite communicator of the inReach series, the quatix 6 will be always trackable, in any place you decide to go with your boat. You can communicate with your family and friends, telling them your movements in real time and, in an emergency, start a distress call throughout the global network Iridium and the international station GEOS, 24 hours on 24.
Sport friendly
With the new Garmin sportwatch you can receive email, text messages and notices. Also, it’s possible to do contactless payments through Garmin Pay™, listen music with your Bluetooth headphones and playing sports, monitoring your physical condition and using dedicated fitness functions.
The cardiac frequency sensor and the Pulse Ox2 sensor provide indeed several details about your fitness activity, measuring the oxigen level saturation of the blood. quatix 6 is useful also for people that play running, excursions, swimming, ski, golf and much more. You can check the number of steps made during the day, the total distance made, the burned calories since midnight, the sleep hours, the daily goal and the countdown of the steps to make. Every data can be updated on the Garmin Connect™ app, monitoring the results day by day.
Measuring at 47mm, the quatix 6 features a bigger, always-on 1.3-inch color display with an LED backlight so data is easily visible in any light. Water rated to 100 meters, the quatix 6 was built to withstand the elements and boasts up to 14 days of battery life in smartwatch mode, 24 hours in GPS mode and up to 60 hours in UltraTrac™ battery saver mode. Thanks to the new customizable Power Manager, users can also see and control how various settings and sensors impact battery life, and even adjust their battery saving modes to extend battery life on the fly.
The quatix 6 is available now in two versions: the quatix 6 and the quatix 6 Titanium. The quatix 6 Titanium has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal lens, titanium bezel, buttons and rear case and includes a titanium watch band as well as a cirrus blue silicone QuickFit™ band.
