benetti online eventSimrad announced its participation at the important event dedicated to yachting professionals, captains and crews, organized by Benetti and which started today and will continue tomorrow.

The event is presented for the first time in an unprecedented phygital format (from the union of the physical and digital world) and has as main theme the Next Generation Yacht, boats with high technological content and excellence in design. A theme that finds in Simrad an ideal interlocutor, considering the high technology and innovation of its electronic systems dedicated to superyachts.

The concept of this 21st Yachtmaster offers for the first time a virtual trade show designed specifically for partners. Just like in an exhibition fair, guests can visit virtual stands, communicate with companies in real time through chat, one-to-one video call and virtual meeting room, or make a private appointment with all partners in the days following the event, until 23 February.

Simrad’s participation in this event is the result of the fruitful collaboration that the electronics company has established with Benetti and the entire Azimut | Benetti Group“, says Roberto Sesenna, key account manager and EMEA Boat Builders Director, who will be one of the protagonists of the event alongside many technical experts and key Simrad figures.

Their presence allows to deepen all the issues concerning the state of the art of marine electronics: from the Command integration for on-board control and monitoring, to the new sophisticated radar detection systems, as well as to the ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display and Information System) which guarantee the best management of all cartographic information, even of large ships.

Among the recent collaborations with Benetti, we recall that the Simrad instrumentation is present on the new Motopanfilo (BMP01), a displacement yacht of 37 meters in composite that is characterized by iconic lines that recall the past, but with extremely technological contents, starting from on-board electronics: systems perfectly customized with the environment that offer total navigation control.
