The Marche Yachting & Cruising Association was founded in 2021 with the aim of promoting, assisting and facilitating the development of the shipbuilding industry in the Marche region for luxury ships and boats, intended as a cohesive Cluster of builders, designers and strategic suppliers.
Members of MYC
The Association counts among its members the University Politecnica delle Marche, leading shipyards in the sector, such as CRN Ferretti Group, ISA/Palumbo Superyachts, Cantiere delle Marche, Wider, CPN and Cantiere Rossini (Lisa Group), internationally renowned Architecture and Design Studios, such as FM Architettura di Interni, LP Luxury Projects and Massari Design, top-level furniture and contract manufacturers such as Poltrona Frau and Cantori and specialized companies of the caliber of Team Italia, AMS Advanced Mechanical Solutions, SailADV, Corset/Linset, Furlanetto International, Marine Shore Assistance and Videoworks.
Internationalise the Marche nautical sector
With the aim of promoting the Marche region as a world excellence for the construction of luxury cruise ships and yachts, the Marche Yachting & Cruising Association (MYC) has begun a process of dialogue and collaboration with the Marche Region and with the Marche Chamber of Commerce.
The aim is to enhance the Marche nautical sector by developing specific actions aimed at promoting its internationalization, but also the activation of specific training courses by academic realities.
The first launch event in synergy with the institutions was held on February 2022 (Dubai local time) in a conference on Zoom platform, during the week of Marche at EXPO DUBAI.
At this event attended the Vice President of Marche Region, Mirco Carloni, the President of Tecne Azienda Speciale della Camera di Commercio delle Marche, Moreno Bordoni, the selected national and international sector press and generalist press together with some Members of the Association.
Starting from the central theme “The beauty of the jewels of the sea Made in Marche“, the debated themes were:
- POLTRONA FRAU and CANTORI will talk about “Beauty built as the DNA of traditional craftsmanship”
- LP LUXURY PROJECTS will talk about “holistic yacht design”
- FM ARCHITETTURA DI INTERNI will talk about “the new concept of residential yachts”
- CRN FERRETTI GROUP – ISA / PALUMBO SUPERYACHTS – CANTIERE DELLE MARCHE – WIDER AND CANTIERE ROSSINI will talk about “innovation towards sustainability”
