cmc marine productsCMC Marine, the first company in the world to introduce and patent a system of electric fin stabilizers that has since become the industry benchmark, is taking part in the Palm Beach International Boat Show, one of the most eagerly awaited events on US and world markets, alongside other top players from around the world.

This is a boom period for the US boating industry, with 16 million units in circulation and an accessories and aftermarket sector worth almost $9 billion (2021 data, NMMA, National Marine Manufacturers Association).

CMC products at the boat show

At the upcoming US boat show held from March 24 to 27, CMC Marine will be exhibiting two of the flagship models that have helped the Tuscan company become the leading producer of electric stabilizers in terms of reliability and expertise.

First of all, an HS60 fin stabilizer representing the Stabilis Electra line, optimised for fast boats and equipped with electronics that reduce the overall dimensions and weight while improving performance; then a STAB 25 ultracompact electric stabilization system from the Waveless line, the CMC Marine division that designs stabilizer fins and TRIM systems for yachts 12 metres in length and over.

The two products chosen exemplify the varied offering of the Tuscan company, which designs, manufactures and markets stabilization systems for a wide range of yachts, all featuring extremely simple installation on both new builds and for refit projects, not least because of their remarkably compact size.

The growth of CMC Marine

Buddy Morgan, CMC Marine Corp (USA) Sales Vice President, said: “The Palm Beach boat show is one of the most important in the United States and the last major North American event of the season. Growing in popularity year after year and attracting an ever-increasing number of visitors, the event has a special appeal for CMC Marine because last year we completed a sale during the show.

While the US market is one of the most robust for the Tuscan company, it is by no means the only one to report growth: one of the characteristics that has helped CMC Marine expand in various parts of the world is undoubtedly the company’s willingness and ability to adapt its products in line with the characteristics and needs of very different boat models, drawing on the technical expertise of the company’s employees and the highly innovative approach of its management team.
