Boero YachtCoatings, for over fifty years committed to the production of paint solutions for the yachting and superyacht markets, as well as partner of the most important shipyards in the world, will be a guest of SEA YOU – TALKS: a program of short themed conferences, which will take place on Tuesday 12 April 2022 at the Marina di Genova, with the speech “A NEW FRONTIER IN THE SUPERYACHT PAINT SYSTEM: THE GREEN APPROACH BY BOERO YACHTCOATINGS” starting at 11:30 am.
SEA YOU – YACHT SALES & CHARTERS DAY
The Talks will mainly focus on the theme sustainable development in the yachting industry and will be an integral part of the SEA YOU – YACHT SALES & CHARTERS DAY.
An event that will last until Wednesday 13 April 2022 and which will allow shipowners, brokers and potential customers to participate in an exhibition entirely dedicated to the sale and charter of yachts and superyachts, also involving an increasingly wider audience, thanks to the opportunity to visit the interiors and structures of the boats.
Yachting and sustainability
The speech proposed by Boero YachtCoatings aims to underline both the prospects for sustainable growth and the environmental criticalities, starting from some reflections proposed during the Gruppo Boero’s conference at EXPO 2020 Dubai, regarding the efforts still necessary to reduce the impact of superyacht activities and products on both the environment and society.
These topics, such as the positive path undertaken by the Group alongside the first B Corp and Benefit Company in Europe, Nativa and the huge investments in R&D, which have among the main objectives that of gradually eliminating impacting substances and biocides in antifouling products, will be a matter of even more in-depth analysis.
This event also provides for the participation of international opinion leaders and will be an opportunity for discussion and networking on some critical issues of a wide debate, such as safeguarding the ocean through innovations, the search for alternative fuels and the horizons of AI and infotainment on board of boats.
