B&G, Simrad e C-Map at the Venice Boat Show

Navico is pleased to announce its presence at the Venice Boat Show, which will be held from 28 May to 5 June, to present the products of the Simrad Yachting, B&G and C-Map brands to the public.

The Arsenale della Serenissima will be the perfect setting for brands to exhibit the latest generation electronics range for sailors and boaters both inside the dedicated stand and on board many of the boats present.

Simrad Yachting

In Venice, the Italian debut of Simrad’s new multifunction display (MFD) – NSX™, the latest evolution of chartplotter and fishfinder for mid-range motorboats of the Simrad® line. The Simrad® NSX display is available in 7, 9 or 12 inches and is based on a revolutionary operating system, specifically designed to redefine the navigation experience.

NSX features a modern and innovative interface, supported by the latest and most intuitive touchscreen technology. Map details are clear and defined and the C-MAP® navigation system, in addition to its power, also offers full compatibility with sonar, radar and autopilots.

The guided installation procedure accompanies the user in every phase of device configuration and integration with the Simrad® app allows connection to the smartphone in an instant.

Command technology

At the booth – as well as on board many of the boats on display – will be Simrad® Command technology, which combines an elegant design with a configurable interface that makes it easy to monitor and control all systems on board, all with a unique layout. attributable to the boat.

The Simrad® Command integration and monitoring system is fully customizable, from the color and design of the interface to the number of users connected to the system.

Each electrical system on board (lights, anchor, engines, bilge pump, batteries, cooler, etc.) can be monitored and / or managed directly by a Simrad® multifunction display, depending on the needs of the captains / owners. The owner or captain will decide the level of complexity and the amount of data to be displayed, as this innovative solution for the helm station is based on total freedom of configuration.

B&G

For B&G there will be Nemesis ™, the new generation of intelligent data displays for sailing. In addition to offering unprecedented visibility, Nemesis™ allows full customization or access to pre-set multifunctional templates and easy-to-use automatic dashboards based on point of navigation.

Whether racing or cruising, Nemesis™ gives sailors the ability to view navigation data they trust when and how they want to see it, regardless of external conditions, providing an intuitive link between their instrument network and the real world.

Among other functions, the customizable all-in-one display can be mounted horizontally or vertically and the easy-to-use editor with drag & drop selection function allows complete customization through a wide choice of graphic indicators, SailSteerTM, tank levels, digital data, IP camera views, histograms and images.

C-MAP

C-MAP®, specialized in digital marine cartography and cloud-based mapping, brings to the show a series of essential updates, both free and for Premium subscribers, related to iOS and Android.

The updates bring additional functionality to this popular marine navigation apps, including satellite view, weather overlay, the ability to share routes, custom notifications and the new anchor alert safety feature.
