Finally, the Sport segment is all about performance and is designed for the rider looking for the perfect ride and wanting to experience the adrenaline rush of acceleration to the fullest.

These WaveRunners are perfect for both relaxing days dedicated to exploring remote shores and exhilarating high-speed runs with splashing water on your skin and wind in your hair.

The new FX Cruiser SVHO is available as standard in Torch Red with black accents. The on-trend charcoal and mint colors and new graphics, along with a high-quality paint finish, make this edition particularly eye-catching.

The limited edition version comes standard with recessed retractable cleats, allowing you to quickly and easily moor to a pontoon or buoy.

The FX SVHO model has also been updated and now has an integrated sound system installed in the footwell. Waterproof and shockproof, Bluetooth enabled and connected to the 7-inch Connext® color touchscreen – listening to music or calling a waterfront restaurant quickly has never been easier.

Finally, the FX Cruiser HO and FX HO models have been enhanced with an extremely light and durable NanoXcel2® deck that improves power / weight ratio and handling.

VX versatility

The VX series includes multifunctional WaveRunners and intuitive RiDE systems that completely transform the driving experience, introducing intuitive control, electronically engaged reverse and traction control.

Thanks to two multi-attachment points conveniently positioned to accommodate navigation equipment, cameras or other devices, the pilot will have all the technology he/she needs at his/her complete disposal and easily usable, to experience an incredible adventure.

VX

The VX model is powered by the innovative 1049cc TR-1 high-power 3-cylinder engine. Compact and lightweight, the engine offers a perfect balance between efficiency and maneuverability. The VX model offers everything you need to start your adventures: seating for 3 people, ample storage space and the intuitive RiDE control system.

VX Cruiser HO: news for next year

Top of the range of the VX line-up with its powerful engine, the VX Cruiser HO has reached even higher levels this year with the addition of a NanoXcel2® deck, previously only available on high-end Cruising models and high-end cruisers.

The new deck is extremely robust and incredibly light, allows you to maneuver more easily, and guarantees adrenaline-pumping speed on the water. The powerful 1812cc high-power 4-stroke engine delivers smooth, powerful and efficient performance.

A new definition of “free time”

The introduction of the JetBlaster® has redefined the yachting segment. The NanoXcel2® hull offers an excellent power / weight ratio, allowing for an exciting ride and excellent performance.

This electronic trim system allows for easy bow height adjustment, reducing splash and drag when lifting, providing greater cornering grip when lowering the bow. The RiDE® control system, with electronically engaged reverse gear, allows for easier driving, while the footrests allow even novice pilots to easily adjust their driving position.

New for 2023

While the JetBlaster® comes with a retro-inspired design to pay homage to the legendary WaveBlaster, this year’s model has a more understated style while retaining its oomph. The new look captures a new type of customers who prefer a more understated and modern look for their WaveRunner.

Sport: maximum performance

The supercharged Yamaha GP1800R SVHO and GP1800R HO stand out from the others thanks to the first automatic trim system with Cornering Control and Launch Control.

Cornering Control automatically adjusts the trim providing more grip when the rider decelerates to tackle tighter turns. Then, it automatically adjusts the trim setting to keep the watercraft on plane.

Launch Control automatically shifts the trim down to prevent the bow from rising when accelerating quickly. This technology offers exceptional levels of handling and performance driving, for competitive and amateur riders.

The GP1800R also features an intake grille and pump, specifically designed for quicker docking and acceleration. Mass distribution has also been optimized to improve the agility of the GP and always offer maximum performance.

SuperJet®: elegant at full speed

The aerodynamic and lightweight SuperJet® model offers an adrenaline-pumping combination of speed and acceleration. Not only does it offer excellent straight-line speed, but also unparalleled maneuverability for speeding across the water.

Its award-winning 3-cylinder, 4-stroke TR-1 powertrain and smooth, lightweight hull designed for non-professional pilots ensure that you dominate the waves.

For pilots who don’t want to go straight to the top, the L-MODE® system reduces engine power to around 35 knots to give beginners greater safety. A wider and more stable hull is perfect for amateur use, while the steering column and handlebar naturally induce the rider into a forward lean position, perfect for driving and turning very fast.

At just 2.5m in length, it fits easily into the back of a large van or SUV and at 170kg is a lightweight model that’s easy to launch and pull out of the water. Also ideal for stowage on the deck of a larger yacht.

Clean the Sea

Now in their third year, Yamaha Motor’s Clean the Sea projects continue to bring many people with a passion for nature closer to marine environments, sharing a unique love for the oceans.

Clean the Sea projects are varied: from supporting record-breaking trips to collect marine litter, to more local initiatives focused on raising awareness and promoting recycling.

Rivers in urban centers are often the most sensitive to the negative impacts of water pollution. Since 2017, Yamaha Motor Portugal has been carrying out initiatives to clean up the Tagus River in central Lisbon, while educating teens about the benefits of recycling and conserving the marine environment.

In 2021 Simone Zignoli highlighted the importance of minimizing the environmental impact during an Italian adventure, aboard his FX WaveRunner. Zignoli immersed himself completely in the nature of Sardinia, making sure not to leave any negative impact on the surrounding environment by living only on what grew locally.

In Scandinavia, since 2021, the Ocean Crusaders have been supported by powerful Yamaha outboard motors in cleaning and removing plastic from the waters around Sweden.

Blue4Green is an initiative launched and promoted in Spain that collects waste in bays, remote inlets and areas that cannot be reached on foot or by larger boats. Yamaha Motor began working with Lucas del Paso in 2022. He and his team launched Blue4Green following a world-record jet ski trip that saw him travel over 3,500km in eight months, collecting waste along path.

An extreme surf support

The Yamaha WaveRunners have been a key part of the evolution of big wave surfing in Nazare, Portugal and beyond. Waves that were once unthinkable for surfing are now possible for elite athletes worldwide.

WaveRunner performance, stability and reliability have contributed to the growth of the sport, allowing riders to navigate surfers in the safest way possible.

Nic von Rupp is a professional big wave surfer from Sintra, Portugal and Yamaha Motor ambassador. After winning numerous big wave competitions during his career, in November 2020 he surfed some of the biggest waves ever at the legendary Nazaré beach, where waves can reach a height of 30 meters.

Nic trains hard and works with his team to achieve the best performance and to be able to better face the challenges of nature. And when it comes to choosing a jet ski that can get him in and out of the biggest waves and reliably lift him up when he disappears under all that body of water, for him the choice falls on Yamaha, the brand a which he has relied on for most of his career.

Today, Nic uses the FX SVHO for his adventures on the waves, because he knows that the FX SVHO is able to guarantee high stability even in the most extreme conditions. Nic embodies the commitment that Yamaha Motor puts into every product, as well as the propensity to push boundaries and always be at the top.
