The Pearl 72, featuring the latest edition of Bill Dixon’s coordinated exterior design and naval architecture, as well as the new interior design theme “Indulgence” by Kelly Hoppen CBE, has garnered attention for its design and craftsmanship: the announcement of the award was made last Saturday during the World Yachts Trophies gala dinner, in Cannes.

Pearl 72 design

This yacht, with its two master cabins and the open plan saloon layout, boasts an interior design scheme crafted by Kelly Hoppen CBE, featuring the “Indulgence” style, complemented by the sleek and modern exteriors designed by Bill Dixon.

The vessel offers generous spaces, including a garage capable of accommodating a William 345 tender and a jet ski.

Pearl yachts are exceptional, and have been designed and built to a consistently high standard by exceptional people. Every yacht demonstrates the love that has gone into the build of every model and everyone and I do mean everyone, who has played their part, has always put their heart and soul into it and I believe you can not only see that. This award holds particular significance as it coincides with our celebration of a quarter-century anniversary, marking 25 years of excellence in our journey. We look forward to continuing our legacy of crafting exceptional luxury yachts.Margaret Whittaker OBE, Owner of Pearl Yachts

Pearl 72

Low volume production and strong attention to detail

We are honored to receive this award. The Pearl 72 is a testament of our commitment to excellence in the world of yachting. Pearl’s philosophy as a boutique yacht builder is centered around creating a low volume of high-quality yachts. Each model incorporates unique features to its sector of market, and all are backed by our industry leading 5-year warranty. This approach not only secured the award but also distinguishes Pearl from other shipyards, garnering recognition in the market.Iain Smallridge, Managing Director of Pearl Yachts

The Pearl 72 represents the latest addition to the Pearl fleet, garnering attention from media worldwide. Soon to follow is the Pearl 82, currently in construction and set for an anticipated launch in 2024.

Pearl 72: layout

In terms of layout, the new Pearl 72 is characterised by two Master Cabins. One is forward with a private entrance, as typically seen on much larger yachts, and the second is full beam amidships.

In addition to providing an ideal solution for co-owners who enjoy the yacht together, this layout allows owners to enjoy the view even when moored stern-to in a marina. There are two further en-suite double cabins plus accommodation for the crew, in addition to a garage with space for a William 345 tender (or similar) and a jet ski.
