Azimut is preparing for the Miami International Boat Show, to be held from the 14th to the 18th of February, with eight models on display, including two premieres.

Magellano 30M

This model will make her world debut before more than one million expected visitors at the Boat Show.

A refined crossover with timeless lines, traced by the American designer Ken Freivokh, the Magellano flagship is characterized by a vertical bow, a powerful profile and protected footpaths that accompany the large glass surfaces (exceeding 70 square meters) enveloping the interiors.

The heart of this model was signed by the architect and designer Vincenzo De Cotiis – whose work is represented by the Carpenters Workshop Gallery.

He designed half-height furnishings to leave the role of protagonist to the views and natural light, enriching the irregular geometries of the onboard environments.

A particular feature is the artistic use of fiberglass, which was born from De Cotiis’ intuition to give a new nobility to materials normally intended for other uses.

The Dual Mode hull, designed by studio P.L. Ausonio Naval Architecture & Azimut R&D Department, offers efficiency and comfort both at a displacement cruise and at higher speeds.

New Fly 72

This yacht, which made its world premiere at the last Cannes Boat Show, will be exhibited for the first time in America during the Miami International Boat Show.

This model features exteriors by Alberto Mancini. The interiors are designed by the architect and designer Fabio Fantolino, who stands out for the recognizable culture of tailor-made design which with this project debuts in the nautical world.

Fantolino interprets the interiors of the New Fly 72 according to his stylistic code, seeking harmony between elegance, design and technique: the environments are designed with a transversal expressive line that runs from the atmospheres of the nautical world to the refinement of contemporary design.

These two worlds, when they meet, create an environment inspired by the masters of 20th century Italian design, reinterpreting iconic details. Transversality is also evident in the choice of materials and forms: wood paired with bronze and glossy lacquers, furnished in balance between linearity and softness.

Mancini’s exteriors are characterized by clean line, further emphasizing the sculptural tension typical of the Series’ design.

Other Azimut models at the boat show

Alongside the two premieres, Azimut is exhibiting two additional models from the Fly Series (Fly 53 and Fly 68), the recent Magellano 60 and Verve 48 – both presented for the first time at the last Cannes Yachting Festival, the S7 sport yacht with a green soul and the Grande Trideck, flagship of the Azimut fleet.

Azimut will attend the Miami International Boat Show 2024 from the 14th to the 18th of February 2024 at 1 Herald Plaza Miami, FL 33132, SLIP A1
