NatPower H debuts at the Salone Nautico in Venice with its green hydrogen Revolution for the Yachting Sector

NatPower H, a reality of hydrogen refuelling stations for recreational boating, will be present at the Salone Nautico in Venice as a technical partner, showcasing a multimedia stand and a fully hydrogen-powered vessel.

  • The NatPower H stand will be open to visitors from 29 May to 2 June (Wednesday – Sunday), from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., at TESA Nappa 89.
  • On Wednesday, 29 May at 4.00 p.m., NatPower H will host the conference “The hydrogen ecosystem for recreational boating,” featuring presentations by key players in the boating and hydrogen industries, and project partners.
  • NatPower H will present a 100% hydrogen-powered vessel.

NatPower H, will attend the 5th Salone Nautico in Venice from 29 May to 2 June.

Boating and sustainability enthusiasts can explore NatPower H’s revolutionary project at their stand in the exhibition area. Interactive digital displays will guide visitors along a multisensory path, explaining the value of hydrogen as an energy carrier for the yachting sector and offering a detailed presentation of the hydrogen refuelling stations. A replica of the refuelling station designed by Zaha Hadid Architects will also be on display, reproduced to a scale of 1:20, along with a model of Bluegame’s chase boat for the 37th America’s Cup and a hydrogen-fuelled engine by Dumarey Automotive.

On 29 May at 4.00 p.m. in the Sala Modelli conference room of the Arsenal, the round table “The hydrogen ecosystem for recreational boating” will be held, moderated by Roberto Perocchio, President of Assomarinas. Discussions will focus on hydrogen as an energy carrier for the green transition of recreational boating. Attendees will include Andrea Minerdo, CEO of NatPower H, Carla Demaria, CEO of Bluegame and Past President of Confindustria Nautica, Luca Santella, Head of Product Strategy of Sanlorenzo Group, and Andrea Porrini, Linde Executive Director Cluster Italy/Algeria/Tunisia.

Following the round table, at 5.30/6.00 p.m. by the wharf, NatPower H will present a fully hydrogen-powered vessel. The 9.5-meter-long boat, developed in collaboration with Hyrex, a Norwegian company specializing in hydrogen propulsion technology, will participate in E-Regata on 1 June. This unique event is organized by Assonautica di Venezia, Associazione Motonautica Venezia, VeniceAgenda2028, Venti di Cultura, and Triumph Group International with collaboration from Vela and FIM. The boat will sail across Venice, starting from the Arsenal and passing through San Marco, Rio di Cannaregio, Rialto, and Canal Grande.
