Inboard transmission production and in-house foundry
The partnership with Subhadra seals 10 years of acquaintance between the two marine entities; the first order, consisting of an inboard propeller, is already in the home stretch.
Subhadra specializes in all Inboard Transmission systems and, thanks to the advantage of an in-house foundry, in the production of bronze parts: Outboard Engine Parts, Boat Propulsion Systems, Spare Parts, marine propellers, stern gears, valves, kortnozzels, rudders…
They make both standard and custom products and handle directly each step: from the study of the model to casting, machining, and finishing the product.
The protagonists
“We have been in contact for a decade now, and I can say that their products boast excellent material quality and very attractive prices,” comments Marco Meda, founder of Omnimec. “In recent years, moreover, Subhadra has grown technically and acquired advanced machinery. All this ensures a precise result and fast delivery times (from the model to casting and processing takes only 3 weeks).”
“Our production is in India, where we can count on about 60 employees,” state Directors Jayshree Agrawal and Sachin Sawant. “The agreement we made with Omnimec is initially for Italy, then eventually we will consider expanding to all of Europe—we are starting slow, preferring to opt for gradual but solid growth.”
Near future news
Soon (between February and March ) the new OMNIMEC 2025 CATALOG will be available with several very interesting new features.
Among them :
- a new seal made in Japan;
- a complete piston for Volvo Penta 280 290 and DPH;
- a prop propeller protector for outboard engines.
