Marine control levers and joysticks

Significant attention was drawn to LILAAS control levers and joysticks, designed for azimuth propulsion units, main propulsion, and thruster applications. These advanced ship control systems combine modern design, ergonomics, and control precision, offering extensive configuration options and maximum operational reliability in complex marine environments.

At the KIEPE Electric stand, visitors had the opportunity to directly test LILAAS levers through a marine simulator developed by Scenario. This allowed them to experience vessel maneuvering as real captains and to appreciate the responsiveness and precision of LILAAS control levers across different control stations and simulated navigation conditions, reinforcing their role in next-generation marine automation systems.

Fire detection system

The LISTEC marine fire detection system is based on a linear heat-sensitive cable connected to a control unit that continuously monitors temperature with a resolution of 0.1°C. Certified according to EN54-22, DNV Maritime, and ATEX standards, the system is designed for early fire detection across a wide range of applications – from installations requiring discretion to the most demanding environments, such as those characterized by high humidity, the presence of salt and oils, and harsh operating conditions.

A distinctive advantage of the LISTEC system – beyond precise fire source localization – is its maintenance-free operation and the ability to restore functionality by replacing only the damaged section of the cable, making it a benchmark in maritime safety technology.

Visitors were able to test its operation by observing in real time the precise localization of the alarm point, triggered by manually heating the sensor cable.
