Industrial integration, new management structures, and an increasingly yacht-oriented vision: in recent years, the Opacmare Group has embarked on a path of growth that goes beyond simply expanding its product range, focusing on an increasingly complex industrial structure, the integration of skills, and direct control of the most advanced segments of the nautical industry.
This evolution reflects the transformations taking place in the superyacht market, where the boundary between boat and sea is increasingly becoming a design issue, and where complexity, extensive customization, and organizational solidity have become decisive competitive levers.
A precise strategy
The acquisition of Pin-Craft, announced in 2025, fits into this context. This operation responds to a precise strategy: to move closer to a production center of excellence such as Viareggio, to expand the product portfolio to also cover the handling of boats over 50 m, to offer custom yacht solutions including installation, to enhance the growth potential of the acquired company, and to optimize the organization and production processes at the group level.
This integration now allows Opacmare to offer itself as a single point of contact for boats from 10 to 200 m, maintaining distinct but coordinated identities.

At the helm
With solid managerial experience gained in the industrial and metalworking sectors, Anselmi has been called upon to lead the Viareggio-based company through a phase of organizational transformation. In the first months, his mandate will focus on operational integration with Opacmare, the introduction of new software tools to support company management, the reorganization of production layouts and a comprehensive review of the organizational structure. These measures, Opacmare explains, “aim to optimize internal processes, improve operational efficiency, and support coordinated and sustainable growth.”
A few months after the acquisition, the appointment of Marco Andrea Francesco Anselmi as General Manager of Pin-Craft represents a further step in this process: a choice aimed at fully exploiting the synergies initiated with the acquisition and strengthening the organizational structure of the Viareggio-based company in a phase of strong development.

A complete industrial partner
The goal is to make Pin-Craft fully operational within a broader industrial vision, without distorting its design DNA and ability to develop unique solutions. “The message to the market, partners, and stakeholders is clear,” Opacmare emphasizes, “Pin-Craft is investing in organization, skills, and leadership to face future challenges with solidity and consolidate its role as a reliable and innovation-oriented industrial partner.”
With the integration of Pin-Craft, the strengthening of its industrial structure, and increasingly efficiency-oriented governance, the Opacmare Group now presents itself as a complete industrial partner for high-end boating. It is a team capable of accompanying shipyards and designers throughout the entire yacht development cycle, from design to supply, installation, and assistance, interpreting the new needs of the large yacht market from an industrial perspective.
A complete industrial partner
The market context confirms the soundness of these strategic choices. The nautical sector, particularly in the super and mega yacht segment, continues to show sustained demand. In 2025, the Opacmare Group exceeded €50 million in turnover, driven by growth in yacht access systems for medium/large yachts, and the forecast for 2026 is for further growth.
Europe and Italy remain the reference markets for Opacmare, but interest is growing in the United States and Asia, with countries such as China, Japan, Taiwan, and India becoming increasingly active.
At the same time, a clear trend is emerging: shipowners and shipyards are demanding solutions that enhance the onboard experience and make the relationship between boat and sea increasingly fluid. Opening balconies, convertible platforms, and immersive movement systems are becoming architectural elements in their own right, no longer mere accessories. In this scenario, the distinction between serial and custom production is blurring, giving way to flexible production models that combine industrialization, customization, and services.

A complete range
One of Opacmare Group’s main strengths today lies in its ability to offer an extremely wide and consistent range, capable of covering almost all on-board handling and access requirements, from medium-sized boats to mega yachts.
· OPACMARE focuses on industrialized products designed to be certified by major classification societies – including RINA, Bureau Veritas, Lloyd’s Register, ABS, CRS and RRR – and manufactured in significant quantities. Gangways, transformers, hatches, lifting systems, tender lifts, doors, windows, balconies, multifunction gangways, bathing platforms, and seats make up a wide and structured range of marine accessories, with tens of thousands of units installed worldwide.
Production is supported by advanced digital systems for order management, production planning, quality control, and logistics, as well as a structured CRM system and a global network of dealers and after-sales services.
· PIN-CRAFT operates as the Group’s center of expertise for advanced customization. Here, standardization gives way to custom engineering and direct dialogue with shipyards and designers: complex handling systems, large gangways and hatches, integrated solutions designed on a case-by-case basis for yachts over 50 m. This is an area where the ability to solve unique problems and adapt each system to the architecture of the yacht becomes a distinctive feature.
A global service structure
The group’s offering is completed by a global service structure, capable of guaranteeing rapid response times, remote support, and continuous training for dealers and technicians. This asset further strengthens Opacmare’s position as a complete industrial partner, capable of following the product throughout its entire life cycle, from design to installation to after-sales service.
In this context, the growth of the Opacmare Group translates into the construction of an industrial model consistent with the evolution of boating, in which boat access and handling systems become an integral part of the yacht’s architecture. This is a design area that lies where the boat ends and the sea begins, and is now increasingly central to the development of large yachts.
Electric movement and a sustainable approach
The introduction of electrically operated components reduces the use of hydraulic circuits and pressurized fluids, with benefits in terms of environmental impact, safety, and simplified maintenance operations. At the same time, electrical systems allow for precise control of movements and easier integration with on-board systems.
An example of this evolution is Evo Step, an electrically operated ladder designed for nautical applications, which combines compactness, precision of movement, and ease of installation. Together with electric gangways, Evo Step represents one of the most concrete applications of the electrification of on-board access systems, in line with an industry trend towards increasingly environmentally compatible technical solutions without compromising operational reliability.
