Thermo-sensitive privacy glass for yachts and superyachts

Inglas Vetri introduces One Way thermo-sensitive marine glass, an advanced glazing solution designed to deliver maximum onboard privacy and thermal comfort in modern yacht and superyacht applications.

This innovative, by Inglas Vetri, yacht privacy glass system allows full outward visibility from inside the vessel while preventing visibility from the outside, ensuring discretion and comfort without compromising natural light or design continuity.

The One Way glass is engineered with thermo-sensitive properties that react to solar radiation and temperature variations. When exposed to sunlight and heat, the surface gradually becomes opaque, reducing inward visibility and limiting solar heat gain inside the vessel. At night or in cooler conditions, the glass returns to a fully transparent state, maintaining optimal visual performance.

Unlike traditional shading systems, this solution operates without electricity or mechanical components, making it a highly efficient energy-free privacy glazing for yachts that reduces onboard energy consumption and maintenance requirements.

Developed with high-quality materials and advanced processing techniques, One Way ensures long-term durability, optical clarity and resistance to harsh marine environments, meeting the demands of luxury marine glazing systems.

By integrating privacy, thermal regulation and visual comfort into a single material, Inglas Vetri positions One Way as a next-generation solution for smart yacht window technology, where glass becomes an active component of onboard environmental control.
