Founded in Australia in 1968, MUIR Ltd is a global benchmark in anchoring and mooring systems designed for the most demanding operating conditions. MUIR windlasses and capstans equip bluewater yachts, superyachts and offshore vessels worldwide and are selected by leading international shipyards for their structural integrity, long service life and ease of maintenance.

The product range extends from compact vertical windlasses for 40-ft vessels to large combined systems for superyachts exceeding 140 m, featuring high-torque hydraulic or electric drives, remote-control systems compatible with the leading onboard automation platforms, and construction entirely in AISI 316L stainless steel or marine-grade bronze.
