Alia Yachts recently launched a new 60-metre superyacht named Samurai. This new yacht features naval architecture by Van Oossanen Naval Architects, exterior design by Omega Architects and interior design by Redman Whiteley Dixon.
Strong horizontal lines and an organic evolution of the superstructure draw a harmonious vessel. Her hull is the Fast Displacement Hull Form (FDHF) patented by Van Oossanen Naval Architects.
The volume of indoor as well as outdoor spaces has cleverly been arranged so to create an impressive synergy between inside and outside. Her innovative layout sees most of the living spaces, including salon as well as guest cabins and the master suite, located together on the main deck, which makes it feel like a contemporary luxury residence. The owner’s suite is flooded with natural light by full height windows, from which spectacular views can be enjoyed of the surrounding landscape.
The main saloon as well provides owners and guests with stunning panoramic views, thanks to its full height wrap-around windows. The lower deck accommodates the crew, main galley, storages, the engine room and the tender garage. The beach club and gym are two entertaining areas located at sea level.
Samurai is equipped with a custom-built 7-metre Smuggler tender and a 6.3-metre Smuggler tender. Powered by twin MTU 16V4000 M73L engines of 2,880 kW each, she will be able to reach a top speed of 21 knots and a range of 4,250 nm.
