Nibira Yachts: a new company based in Sicily

The mission of Nibira is to build custom yachts of up to 90 m overall, majoring on the customisation of all elements on board with the great Karen passion that distinguishes Italian craftsmen and designers. Nibira is thus the synonym of a unique product: every Nibira yacht is built to satisfy the desires of its owner with an exclusive project that cannot be reproduced in other vessels.

The NIBIRA EXPLORER is the entry-level offered by the Sicilian company, designed by Luciano Raffa’s Studio LR New Design. The yacht is 35 m overall with a sheer bow and no keel bulb, to reduce wave effects when underway, increase speed and reduce consumption thanks to improved hydrodynamics. Considerable volumes, ample spaces over the sea are the characteristics of this yacht in steel and aluminium with the stand that is a “beach club” with swimming pool, sun beds and large bathing platform at water level. It can also be equipped with comfortable sun beds and used as a solarium. A distinct characteristic of this vessel are the roomy interiors and exteriors with plenty of living space. There is room for up to 12 guests, with six cabins.

The NIBIRA EXPLORER 60 is a yacht 60 m overall, with a sleek and raked bow, impressive volumes, ample spaces above the water and built in steel and aluminium. There is plenty of open space: on the terraces of the main and upper decks are spacious areas for socialising, while the sun deck includes a helicopter landing platform. There is great versatility in the organisation of space on board, with great equilibrium between exteriors and interiors and reserved passages for service personnel to avoid them interfering with guest areas. The Nibira Explorer 60 can carry up to 18 guests in nine cabins: for guest cabins on the lower deck, for VIP cabins on the middle deck and a master suite covering the entire beam occupying more than half of the upper deck, creating a huge space for the exclusive use of the owner. With engines of 3860 hp each, this megayacht can reach 18 kn with a range of 5000 miles at 12 kn.
