A new 90-metre hybrid superyacht concept has recently been unveiled by JQB Design Studio, which is responsible of the world’s largest explorer yacht Octopus. The new concept was inspired by the automotive world and features  a distinctive and timeless style.

The tri-deck vessel shows a well balanced design, with a sleek line harmoniously connecting the foredeck with the upper aft deck. Above this line, a low-profile superstructure painted in crisp white with metallic silver accents.

The main deck features floor to ceiling windows, which allow for excellent views on the surrounding landscape to the guest cabins. The master suite, located on the upper deck, enjoys a prime real estate spot with panoramic vistas.

With a beam of 14 metres and a draft of 4 metres, the superyacht is designed to be fitted with a hybrid diesel-electric power plant that drives either an Azipod or conventional shafts for propulsion. An advanced battery power system is also being considered as an option to deliver cleaner power for hotel needs onboard.

This Seattle-based design studio has provided its international clients, since its foundation in 1995, with award-winning exterior and interior design services for several yachts ranging from 50 feet to over 400 feet.
