codecasa-43m-superyacht-hull-f76Codecasa, an historic Italian shipyard dating back to 1825, recently launched their latest 43-metre Vintage Series (Hull F76) at their facilities in Viareggio.
The Vintage Series had been first launched at the Monaco Yacht Show in2011, with model Codecasa42, hull F73: it was much appreciated and it was awarded Best Interior Design in the Nautical Design Awards 2011. Two more vessels in the series have been completed in 2013 and 2015, and the latest to be launched takes her inspiration from the very first. She can be indeed considered the natural evolution of Codecasa42.
Compared to Codecasa42, the hull F76’s overall length was increased of about half meter in the aft area.
In-house designers Franco and Anna Maria Della Role developed a totally new layout, designed specifically for Hull F76.
The major innovation is the full beam layout of the Owner’s Suite, situated forward on the main deck, which features larger spaces including a private office. On the bridge deck, the Captain’s Cabin is adjacent the wheelhouse, so to provide the Captain with direct contact with the bridge and separate from the crew quarters in the lower deck. Bigger windows and stunning panoramic views are the key features of all interior areas.
Interior styling is by Tommaso Spadolini, who created the ideal atmosphere on board. The light and natural tones of the interior boasts some of the finest wood, stone and fabric with an understated elegance which runs throughout the yacht.
Exterior spaces have been designed to allow for the maximum comfort: an exterior living area with sofas, settees and tables forward the wheelhouse creates a private space. The sun deck will be equipped with a Jacuzzi.
The new vessel is equipped with two Caterpillar 3512C main engines (1.650 HP each at 1,800 rpm) which allow for a top speed of 16.5 knots in light displacement conditions and for a range of 4,000 nautical miles at the cruising speed of 11 knots.
