Boating industry: training ITS and work

The career days promoted by Isyl, a higher education institute dedicated to the professions of the sea, have started. The first meeting between students and companies took place in the past few days in Viareggio in the Villa Borbone campus.

This is the first step and application that will allow boys and girls who attend the courses organized by the foundation to come into contact with the nautical companies where they can be included in company internships useful for training in the field and in line with the professional path chosen.

ISYL and the Golden International Members shipyards

The first Golden International Members shipyards (Overmarine, San Lorenzo, Tankoa Yachts and Azimut Benetti) supporting Isyl, took part in the day, to which others will be added according to the requests of members and new members. About 40 students who successfully took part in the meetings preparing themselves to interact with companies in the yachting world.

ISYL CAREER DAYS

With the support of the Golden International Members, the foundation has launched a three-year strategy that aims to strengthen its impact both in the interest of companies in the sector and for students.

The strategy creates a strong link with the partners in order to design training courses based on the needs of the sector, develop courses for students who have a linear and rapid path in entering production processes, promote the professions of the sea, especially boating in schools by providing vocational guidance.

The purpose of the career-day was to encourage contact between students and leading companies in the sector through interviews in order to guide and make the internship period more profitable and pursue the goal of the ISYL Foundation in achieving 100% employment of students six months after graduation.
