Innovation and sustainability in the boating industry – April 4, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM

The Politecnico di Milano will host the first-ever Polimi Nautical Hub, an open event dedicated to nautical innovation. The event is organized in collaboration with Physis PEB, the university team that develops a hybrid hydrogen-battery powered catamaran each year to compete in the Energy Boat Challenge in the Principality of Monaco.

This will be a unique opportunity to showcase cutting-edge marine technology and innovative strategies aimed at reducing environmental impact and redefining how we experience the sea.

The event is also a great chance for enthusiasts, students, and professionals in the sustainable boating sector to engage directly with leading companies in the industry. Throughout the day, attendees will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a unique experience, featuring:

  • Interactive exhibitions, where visitors can explore prototypes and state-of-the-art technologies from companies and student teams.
  • Talks with experts, sharing their vision of the future of the nautical industry.
  • Pitch sessions, presenting the most revolutionary ideas in green yachting and sustainability.
  • Networking opportunities with teams and companies, connecting with key players driving the ecological transition in the sector.

The event will start at 9:00 AM at the Bovisa La Masa Campus, with the opening of exhibition stands. In the afternoon, from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM, company presentations will take place in Aula Carassa e Dadda, inside building BL28.

Admission is free. For more information about the event, visit the official website of the Politecnico di Milano: https://www.polimi.it/en/
