The Icon Yachts latest design, with delivery scheduled for 2021, combines elegant design work, cutting edge technologies and huge exterior and interior volumes. Thanks to this project, the Duch yard that is best known for its conversion and refit projects move into two new segments of the superyacht industry: a new-construction project and a yacht built on spec. The yacht is designed by world-renowned designer Tim Heywood and constructed by ICON Yachts, whereas interiors are made by the work of Gimena Mazzeo Design.
The luxurious 126m² Master Stateroom includes a private study forward, 270º views and open sea balconies to port and starboard. The spacious VIP and the 5 guest suites, all located privately on the lower deck, offer direct access to Spa, Hammam, Gymnasium and Sea Terrace. There are multiple dining options located throughout the yacht, including al fresco dining on the main and upper decks, and diners can enjoy uninterrupted views aft to the ocean from main or upper deck.
A helipad on the forward deck allows effortless arrivals and departures for guests; the main deck housed two 33-foot tenders and a 6.8m infinity pool, whereas the bridge deck presents a large sunbathing space and is topped by an expansive sundeck with a hot tub. . Other key amenities include onboard cinema, wine tasting lounge with Teppanyaki bar and palatial main and upper deck saloons.
Silent and sleek in the water, cruising at 16knots, Icon 280 is powered by two ultra-efficient 1500Kw engines and clean emission generators. Rolls-Royce Neptune retractable stabilisers and extra-quiet bow thrusters of this superyacht ensure an easy and accurate maneuvering.
