Coral-OceanLürssen Yachts will present its iconic superyacht Coral Island – now renamed Coral Ocean – at the Monaco Yacht Show 2016. Among the latest launches, the recently refitted Coral Ocean will bring her classic touch dating back to 1994. She has been regularly maintained, with the latest update last winter to prepare her for the charter market to conform her to commercial standards. The vessel will be available for charter for the summer season in the Mediterranean.
The 72.54-metre motoryacht is one of the first projects by the late designer Jon Bannenberg, who took care of the entire design from her clean exterior to her Polynesian interior.
The yacht has been exclusively privately used and is kept in pristine condition since her launch in 1992 through a series of refits and maintenance periods over the past 2 decades. In 1994, Coral Ocean was one of the first yachts featuring an indoor gym and a spa.
Coral Ocean’s refit has been amazingly carried out, to bring her truly timeless design back to its original splendor. Refit is indeed a core business for Lürssen Yachts, which had previously completed works also on Phoenix², Global, and Radiant.
