Over 10,000 visitors, 7 specialized conferences, 4 roundtables, 30 speakers, 35 exhibiting companies, more than 60 vehicles on the water to be tried… all strictly 100% electric!

The first edition of EBS – Electric Boat Show 2022, the only exhibition dedicated exclusively to 100% electric mobility on water, ended with great success and satisfaction of exhibitors and visitors.

An important opportunity for meeting and discussion for all the players revolving around this specific supply chain as a whole, with a focus on issues related to today and tomorrow’s boats and the infrastructure necessary to develop the new boating industry.

A sparkling three-day event (Friday, May 13 to Sunday, May 15), which involved and entertained not only experts and technicians in the sector, but also the general public, soliciting the interest and commitment of institutions.

With the partnership of Città Metropolitana di Milano, Regione Lombardia, SIMA – Society of Environmental Medicine, Idroscalo di Milano, Idroscalo Club, Assonautica Italiana, Protezione Civile, Lungsspeakout, realities that have always been very committed to environmental issues and ecological conversion, EBS – Electric Boat Show 2022 took place in the “sea of Milan,” a fascinating landscape for a unique event.

Electric mobility: 360° solutions

Usually, electric mobility is traced back to large ships only, while in this three-day event the best solutions, tools and technologies with low environmental impact suitable not only for the sea but also for freshwater boating, as well as port areas and all those contexts in which water can facilitate mobility could be seen and tested.

All of this was also complemented by a high-profile conference and training schedule made up of conventions, demonstrations and trials that strongly encouraged cross-cutting networking activities among industry professionals, patrons, associations and institutions.

A very positive outcome, beyond all expectations. EBS – Electric Boat Show goal has been achieved: to bring to the attention of operators and institutions the fact that 100% electric mobility on water is not the future but the present. And a pressing one, considering the environmental and health emergency we are experiencing,” declares Paola Brancati administrator of PAEDA & Associati.

“We’ll wrap up this experience looking forward to EBS 2023 and sincerely thanking all the participating companies, associations, institutions, speakers and practitioners who have embraced the event, strongly believed in it and determined its success”.

Yachting in Romania: a modernising market on the Black Sea

The Romanian boating industry is undergoing a gradual transformation, driven by investments in infrastructure, marina development and growing interest in recreational boating and sailing activities.
