WINGLARPROtect tapes shows the complete WINGLAR range for the America’s Cup and the innovative SNAP & SPIRAL for standing rigging at most important exhbition for the yacht industry equipment, the METS, at booth 1.553 This morning will open at 10 CET in Amsterdam, the Marine Equipment Trade Show, better known as the acronym METS. The Made in Italy it is represented by a large group of companies including PROtect tapes, specialized in solutions to chafing, abrasion, scratches, damages, ageing and wear for all kind of yachts, from dinghies to super yachts. In the hall 1, booth 553 it is now on display the full range of products among which the membranes WINGLAR and the innovative SNAP & SPIRAL for standing rigging, as well as a new version of LOOPX, already finalist for the DAME in 2013. The new membranes WINGLAR, the only ones developed specifically for wingsails are used or tested, together with the double sided tapes with extremely high shear strength, by almost all the America’s Cup teams, including Team France Groupama, who recently repeated its success in the Little Cup with the CClass catamarans. At the METS you can see to the full range of membranes, up to 3300 mm width and variable from 13 up to 75 microns thickness used for the wingsails of the AC45/48 catamarans. New products are on display also for the well known range of protective CHAFE, currently available in thicknesses from 76 to 500 microns, with expanded thickness up to 3.17 mm. The SNAP & SPIRAL, presented for the first time at METS, are a couple of innovative products made in PTFE ideal for the protection of the standing rigging. Finally, among the new features, a new version without adhesive of the famous LOOPX, used to replace the traditional loops in textile with greater reliability and lighter weight. PROtect tapes awaits you at its booth 1.553 to view in person its full range of products.
