Elan Yachts had two new boats, the Elan E4 and the Impression 45, making their North American debut at the last edition of the New England Boat Show in Boston. The Show was held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center on February 13-21, 2016.
Elan as a brand has already been present in the North American market for decades, for their innovative skis: the New England Boat Show was the occasion to enter as well the promising US market for sailing yacht, and the recently launched vessels boast innovative design, too.
Elan has a long tradition in boatbuilding, as the Slovenian-based company has been building vessels since 1949: nonetheless, it just made its premiere in the United States of America.
Elan is currently specializing in two different ranges, both designed by the UK-based design studio Humphreys Yacht Design: one for high performance cruisers from 21’ to 45’, and the Impression range of deck salon style cruising yachts from 35’ to 50’.
