giaola-luChristened Giaola-Lu by her Mexican owner, the Bilgin 155 is soon to be delivered after completion of interior outfitting. The Turkish-based shipyard  considers  their 46.8-metre motoryacht the ‘dream yacht’ created in partnership with H2 Yacht Design.
Final touches are being added to the interior, and the brand-new vessel is expected to be delivered by the end of the month.
For her owner, Giaola-Lu is the first fully custom superyacht: he gave H2 Yacht Design studio full freedom to develop their dream yacht.
Tam Elder, Project Director at H2, so explained how the layout of the vessel was conceived: “The layout of spaces was according to indoor/outdoor family living and accommodating a large number of guests over 5 lower deck guests cabins and 1 main deck owner’s suite.”
Elder also remarked that the owner was not looking for an extremely traditional layout, and has achieved a large main deck lounge, combined galley / pantry for the private use of the owner and another large lounge on the deck.
Scandinavian and high-end residential detailing was the main inspiration to convey the sense of being at home while keeping a contemporary style. The general cosy and natural atmosphere has been created using materials such as satin walnut, satin wedge and matt olive wood veneers combined with nubuck, shagreen and natural leathers.
