Wider announced a new-built contract for its first Wider 125, signed by a northern European client during the last Monaco Yacht Show. The Italian shipyard is soon to begin construction on the 38-metre superyacht, with delivery scheduled for Spring 2019.
This technologically advanced vessel will feature a cutting-edge exterior design by Fulvio de Simoni, who has also been in charge for several other Wider yachts, such as the Wider 150, Genesi, and Wider 165, Cecilia (currently being built) : as all her sister vessels, the first hull of Wider 125 will feature a distinctive Wider style.
The yacht will offer generous living areas: outdoor relaxation areas for owners and guests include the entire upper aft deck with sun loungers and exterior furniture; a large seating recess carved into the superstructure forward of the wheelhouse, whilst the stern garage opens and the aft swimming platform extends to create a plunge pool and expansive beach club.
Indoor spaces include generous accommodation for owners: a full beam master stateroom on the main deck with a large opening terrace, owner’s private study and gym.
A tender garage located forward can host a 5.5-metre tender and two jet skis, while a MOB tender can be stored on deck. The 125 benefits from the same diesel-electric technology as seen in the rest of the Wider family, improving fuel economy, range and reliability.
“I am delighted that we came to an agreement to build the Wider 125,” commented Wider’s Founder and CEO Tilli Antonelli. “The client is an experienced charter customer who knows how his family want to use and enjoy their yacht. We have been talking for over a year and the client has looked at the market in detail and decided to build with Wider. Many thanks also go to Georges Damonte from Damonte Yacht Consulting for his assistance in securing the build.”
