UCINA’s associates showcased at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

fort-lauderdale-international-boat-showThe Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2016 confirmed to be another valuable showcase for the excellences of the Made in Italy in the world. Many were in fact the Italian brands to display their latest products at the international event in Florida, among which the associates of UCINA Confindustria Nautica, Overmarine, Rossinavi, Sanlorenzo, Monte Carlo Yachts, Wider and Fipa Group.
Overmarine took part in the event displaying two models of its Maxi Open fleet, the new Mangusta 80 and Mangusta 94. Rossinavi presented their latest project Attitude, the result of a collaboration between the famous designer Carlo Colombo and the international architecture studio A++. Sanlorenzo exhibited six vessels among which the 42-metre explorer yacht 460EXP, weighting only 460 tonnes and a range of more than 4000 nautical miles. Monte Carlo Yachts had its MCY 105 have her American debut, and also showcased its MCY 65, 70, 76 models. Wider announced the upcoming build of the first hull sold of Wider 125. Fipa Group showcased its Maiora 29 and presented the new projects AB 100, Maiora 36 and Maiora 42 Royale which are soon due to delivery.
Other excellent attendees of the show were Austin Parker Yachts, with its Austin Parker 54 Fly S, Rio Yachts with its 42 Air and Espera 34, Cantieri Capelli and Zar Formenti, Canada Euronautics and various ZAR dealers including those for Fort Lauderdale, Chicago and Seattle, as well as Schenker Srl, and Fabbri Service Srl, Rossmare International Srl, Opacmare Srl, Ascom Spa, Frigomar Srl, Boat Lift Srl, Viraver Technology Srl, Atep Italia Srl, Vitrifrigo Srl, Terranova Italian Yachts Srl, which took part in the collective organised by ICE in collaboration with UCINA.
Positive outcomes have also interested other UCINA associated companies outside the collective : : Gianneschi Pumps and Blowers S.r.l., Yacht Controller, ZF Marine, Valdenassi Emanuele Maria and BRP.
In conclusion of the 57th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Carla Demaria, UCINA’s president, outlined that:“ The United States are a key market for the Italian boating industry. The USA represent, in fact, the first export market of the Italian companies and the main global market for number of boat owners, produced boats, and for the turnover generated by the sector”.
Infact, in 2015 the Italian export in the USA for the leisure boating industry has totalled more than 340.500.000 euro, a + 44,4 % if compared to 2014.
