Italian Marine Technology attending Navdex 2017

Idex 2017 and Navdex 2017 have been held in Abu Dhabi (February 19th to 23rd) and the Italian marine technology has been on display. The two events together represent the most important Interforces Event in the Defence sector worldwide. In particular, this year’s edition of Navdex focused on Maritime Security and Shipbuilding and it is today the leader fair in this sector.

DLTMNovamarine, Isselnord, Euroguarco, Besenzoni, Sitep Italia, Sea Crowd and Consorzio Tecnomar (115 shipbuilding companies represented) have taken part to the event in a common exhibiting area named “Italian Cluster of Maritime Technologies”.  The Cluster offers an integrated system of highly specialised services and very well known products, highly recognisable, thanks to the success obtained during Seafuture & Maritime Technologies 2016 and to the participation in Euronaval 2016. The companies have been meeting the foreign delegation Navies, lead by Sheik Abu Dhabi Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahayan.

During the show in Abu Dhabi, the 6th edition of Seafuture & Maritime Technologies, 23-25 May 2018,  has been presented. The main goals of  the 2018 Seafuture will be to increase the number of participating companies and to host at least 30 high representatives of foreign Navies to improve the performance of the event.
