Azimut Grande 35 fifth hull sold at the Yachts Miami Beach

Before the official launch of the first hull of Azimut Grande 35, the fifth hull has been sold on the first day of the Yachts Miami Beach show.
The new 35-metre yacht had been unveiled last September at the 2016 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival. Currently under construction, the tri-deck yacht will become the flagship in the Azimut Yachts range.

A carbon-fibre superstructure will ensure a lower centre of gravity, as in the latest models launched by the group, while the fast planing hull will feature a wave-piercing bow, like in the Benetti Vivace 125 superyacht series. Noise and vibration reduction was an important focus in the design, aimed at providing a quiet and comfortable ride to owners and guests.

Azimut Grande 35 will host two beach clubs onboard, one in the stern and one in the bow, and a side-loading superyacht garage for a tender and Jet Ski. Two options for the upper deck will be also available: either an open flybridge or an enclosed skylounge.

The main-deck master suite will be fitted out with ‘the largest fold-out superyacht terrace on the market’, as stated by Azimut Yachts. Other layout arrangement and engine configuration details are yet to be confirmed and shared.

Paolo Vitelli, president of Azimut-Benetti Group, said: “We have never stopped investing all our resources in the product, and the market recognises this in the form of sales. I feel proud of the more than two thousand people who work in the group.”

Alongside the first hull of Azimut Grande 35, the Italian yard is currently building the Azimut Grande 27 and the Benetti Delfino 95, all expected for launch by the end of this year.
