The two UCINA member companies Amer Yachts and Razeto and Casareto have been chosen by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as representatives of the Italian design in the world.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs have organised 100 events in 100 cities around the world with which to promote, at an international level, the high-quality products of the Made in Italy.
For Malta, the Italian design ambassador is Giangi Razeto, supervisor of the Innovation and Design Department of the F.lli Razeto e Casareto spa, and, for Kuwait, Barbara Amerio, the owner of the shipyard Amer Yachts (Permare Group).

The Scientific Committee composed of Triennale di Milano, Adi – Association for the Industrial Design, Universities, Research Centres, Italian public and private Academies, has chosen companies which offer cult products and world design icons, or which had already been awarded prestigious prizes.

F.lli Razeto e Casareto SpA, an historical Genoa-based company, designs and builds components and accessories for the nautical industry and produces higly specialised products for the yachting world since 1920.

The Permare Group was born in Sanremo in the Seventies as a mechanical assistance company: nowadays it is an excellence in the shipbuilding sector, especially thanks to the introduction of Amer and its series of entirely custom-made yachts.
