Riva and Ferrari, tribute to Carlo Riva

Riva and Ferrari, two of the most renowned Italian brands, will be reunited from June 2nd to 5th in Santa Margherita Ligure (Genoa) for a lifestyle event. The occasion will be the second tribute to Carlo Riva : Riva vintage motor yachts, a world-renowned symbol of the Italian nautical elegance, will gather in the port.

Several yacht owners, both Italian and foreign, will attend the Santa Margherita Ligure event in order to spend a pleasant cruising weekend among San Fruttuoso and Camogli, Sestri Levante and Rapallo, with a rich program of initiatives on land as well. The yachts will be moored in Calata del Porto. Among these, there will be historic models such as Aquarama, Super Florida, Ariston, Special Aquarama (known as the Ferrari of the Sea), Rudy, Tritone.

On Friday, June 2nd, Corso Marconi will host the Ferrari Car Show along the waterfront, with the exhibition of the Ferrari F2002, the model with which Schumaker won his first world championship with the Italian brand. Two driving simulators will be available to let visitors experience the Formula 1 feeling.

The event has been organised in collaboration with the Rapallo Ferrari Club, which is celebrating its thirtieth anniversary this year.

On Sunday, June 4th, in the morning, Riva motor yachts will be displayed in the dock area S. Erasmo, for the parade of their “Elegance Competition”, whose main theme will be this year : “Riva and the cinema”. The owners, dressed according to this theme, will parade on the water in front of the jury.
