The new Ferretti Yachts 780 flybridge yacht has been technically launched and is set for its world premiere, in early September, at the Ferretti Group Private Preview, followed by a dense schedule of shows from Cannes to Fort Lauderdale and Düsseldorf.
It descended onto the water with regal magnificence, radiating the magnetic charm of a true king of the waves. The manoeuvring operations from the plant and the technical launch of the new Ferretti Yachts 780 marked an exciting milestone in the almost 50-year history of Ferretti Yachts, a brand which has become a worldwide icon of Made in Italy flybridge designs.
Its latest creation – a perfect blend of comfort, style, seaworthiness and safety – hit the water last 22 June in Cattolica, where the Group’s production facility for flybridge yachts between 75 and 96 feet is located.
The new model was born from the collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee, the Ferretti Group Engineering Department and Studio Zuccon International Project. With a length of 78.9 feet (24 metres), it represents an ideal link between the under-70 fleet and the larger vessels.
“The launch of Ferretti Yachts 780 is a major step in the ever-evolving journey of our brand, just a few days ahead of the equally-important launch of Ferretti Yachts 920, the new maxi flybridge also built in the Cattolica yard,” said Stefano de Vivo, Chief Commercial Officer of Ferretti Group.

In the coming months, Ferretti Yachts 780 is set to star at the major boat shows which highlight the Group’s busy calendar: after the Ferretti Group Private Preview in Monte Carlo (8-10 September), the model will have its public international premiere at the Cannes Yachting Festival (12-17 September).
Next up is the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (1-5 November), where Ferretti Yachts 780 will be officially presented to the US market. In early 2018, Ferretti Yachts 780 will be among the guests of honour at BOOT in Düsseldorf (20-28 January 2018).
And finally, during the course of 2018 the model will also debut in the Asia Pacific region, where Ferretti Yachts has long been the standard of excellence for the luxury yachting sector.
