Baglietto new 55-metre yachtFollowing the sale of 46  Fast Lucky me and a 54-metre all-aluminium displacement yacht for an American owner, Baglietto has recently announced a new work order for a 55-metre yacht, to be built for a European client. The hull n. 10225 of the La Spezia-based shipyard has been sold with the help of Cornelius Gerling from Edmiston representing the Owner.

Designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, this new 55-metre vessel uses Baglietto’s traditional platform (the T-Line). The yacht is expected to be delivered during the 2019 season. Her soft and sleek lines reflect Baglietto’s traditional style, and, together with the lowered gunwales and side air vents, will embody the Seagull brand’s unmistakable aesthetic features.

The layout, conversely, has been extensively customised and includes six cabins.  Features among many others will be a huge beach club area and a sundeck of 160 square metres. Further details are however to be kept confidential at this point.

“This 55-metre project”, says Baglietto’s CEO Michele Gavino, “is the third work order Baglietto has acquired over the last  eight months, a time during which we have also delivered two new products (48 m Andiamo and the first MV19 Ridoc) and presented two new projects that will complete our renovated range: a restyling of the 43-metre Fast and the brand-new 70-metre yacht by Mulder Design. We are working with great commitment and equally great humbleness on our products, so as to ensure increasingly high quality, as well as a continued focus on research & development. In this way we are able to offer our clients a varied and versatile range. Once again, having the opportunity to build the yacht on speculation has allowed us to offer the Owner faster delivery times”.

Besides this new 55-metre yacht, a 48-metre displacement craft (the twin sister of MY Andiamo and a 43-metre yacht in the Fast line) are currently under construction at the La Spezia shipyard.

Baglietto range also includes 38-metre, 43-metre, and 46-metre projects in its Fast Line; 41-metre, 44-metre, 50 -metre, and 55-metre vessels in the more modern V-Line, while 2 projects – 43-metre and 62-metre – plus a brand-new 70-metre one, will complete the traditional steel and aluminium T-line.
