Stabilis Electra fins on Marlow Explorer

The international growth of CMC Marine and the company’s strategy of expanding beyond national borders gain further traction with the first new build order in the United States signed with Marlow Yachts. The Tuscan company supplied the well-known US brand with the Stabilis Electra stabilizer fins for a new Marlow Explorer.

The installation of a CMC Marine product on a new build yacht in the United States represents an important step forward. The Italian company, which always places at the top of refit segment rankings and is a preferred choice for shipyards and owners, welcomes new US partnerships with open arms and the first is with the American brand Marlow Yachts. The contract to supply Stabilis Electra stabilizers for the construction of a new Marlow Explorer is therefore doubly important. Geographically speaking, it defines and stabilizes the Italian brand’s presence in the USA, while from a technical perspective it creates new opportunities for collaboration on the new build market.

We are very pleased with the contract signed with Marlow Yachts. It rewards all the work we’ve done so far and there is no doubt it represents a starting point for our strategy to grow the business in the United States,” said Alessandro Gallifuoco, Vice President of CMC Marine USA and Head of Business Development, who manages the United States’ branch in tandem with Buddy Morgan, Sales Director.

Stabilis Electra is the anchor stabilization system for yachts from 18 meters upwards. The stabilizer fins are connected to a permanent magnet brushless motor and their fast response and reduced energy absorption make them the most popular model on the market for electric stabilizers.
