italian megayacht designYesterday was launched the new 55-meter megayacht charter of the Admiral fleet, the flagship brand of The Italian Sea Group, one of the largest international groups in the luxury yachting industry, known for the construction and refit of motoryachts and ships up to 100 meters.

Geco, an expression of Italian creativity recognized all over the world, with an extremely captivating and innovative design, is completely developed internally in collaboration with the Group’s Art Director, the Architect Gian Marco Campanino.

With its 55 meters, Geco is an authentic Made-in-Italy masterpiece of shapes, lines and innovative solutions: from the striking style of the bow to the revolutionary stern design which hosts, for the first time on this type of yacht, a “beach club” area which features high glass side walls designed to offer protection on windy days and a large sunbathing platform served by an ultra-modern staircase to facilitate access to the sea.

Elegant and sinous exterior design

The exterior design is fluid, bright and sinuous: the lines dynamically flow between the tops and emphasize the rigorously hand-made details. The chromatic scheme follows and emphasizes the curves of the hull and the superstructure emphasizing the elegance of the exterior, decisive and rigorous.

Geco’s external areas, in perfect harmony with the design of the new megayacht, are characterized by the presence of important sculptural elements such as the bar counter, the sunbathing areas and the stainless steel stairs that connect the different decks.

Another peculiarity of Geco is the heliport positioned in the front of the yacht which delicately overlooks the shape of the hull and presents a lounge area for unforgettable evenings in the open air. Also, the sun deck features a Jacuzzi tub and an equipped gym area.

The elegance of Italian and French styles

The refined and striking interiors reveal a “super glamorous” atmosphere that sees a timeless French allure mixed with more contemporary Italian design. French wooden boiserie, precious Italian marbles, bronzed metal details and leather walls create a decidedly sophisticated environment with an international flavor.

The materials, from wengé wood, natural oak and golden Calacatta marble, give a unique feeling of elegance, in perfect balance between exclusive luxury and craftsmanship. Geco’s colors were carefully selected, the main elements are neutral nuances interrupted by bronzed metal details and bold tones such as navy blue and cognac orange.

In the circular design dining room, a splendid and huge chandelier stands out, a work of art designed to embellish and envelop the environment with an exceptional wavy effect thanks to hundreds of rods of colored crystals.

Geco is the new magayacht custom-made in full harmony with customers to give an exclusive experience to all guests on board. Geco can accommodate up to 12 guests who can stay in the four wonderful suites, in the owner’s suite with private study and in the elegant VIP cabin. The Admiral’s megayacht is expected to be delivered in July 2020.
