Benetti has chosen the Cannes Yachting Festival for the world debut of one of the brand’s latest and most important projects, Motopanfilo 37M, the fibre glass and composite material yacht that celebrates the history of navettas from the 1960s, brought up-to-date for owners with more contemporary tastes, in part through modern technical solutions and style features.
Yacht design
The exterior design is by Francesco Struglia in partnership with Benetti, while Lazzarini Pickering Architetti worked with the shipyard on the interior design of this modern yacht, which features technical and style solutions aligned with the needs of contemporary owners.
The interior and, in part, exterior decor is entirely by Loro Piana Interiors, based on materials and fabrics expressing a timeless sense of elegance. The fabrics chosen are classics for summer on the water, with the leading role played by linen.
For the furnishings, warm white “Biancore” tones have been chosen with blue and malachite accents, while full-bodied and hard-wearing Connemara is the choice for the upholstery and bed covers, and Papeete, in refined Malachite, is used for sommiers and pillows.
Millwood, Devondale and Darjeeling striped linens enliven their warm white base colour with shades of blue in various stripe-widths and combinations. The same linens are also used for the decorative cushions found throughout the yacht and the decor is completed by fire-resistant technical fabrics for outdoor use, these too featuring blue and white stripes.
For the yacht’s debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the furnishing accessories chosen together with Lazzarini Pickering Architetti will also be by Loro Piana Interiors: cashmere plaids, outdoor carpets and fabrics for interiors.
Oasis 40m
The Motopanfilo 37M will be joined by Oasis 40M, which returns to the international stage after making her debut in Genoa last year.
With exterior styling by UK design firm RWD and interiors by New York-based Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, the yacht represents a new lifestyle concept celebrating contact with the sea and the authenticity of an onboard lifestyle that is dynamic and informal but also chic and refined, for an owner who loves travelling and exploring new destinations, under the banner of an informal luxury that favours continuous contact with nature.
OASIS 40 M is the first yacht which has OASIS DECK™, a unique combination of key features that represents the brilliant proposal presented by Benetti to superyacht Owners. The most important characteristics are the opening wings, extending the deck close to the water but safe from the waves, a magnificent pool integrated in a flush deck close to the sea and within the social area and an unobstructed 270-degree view off the stern, even from the saloon.
Furthermore, onboard Oasis 40M, the bridge is designed as a multifunctional space with full-height glazing and a futuristic helm station where the captain, owner and guests can enjoy the cruise and decide which course to plot from new observation points.
Delfino 95 unit
Also exhibited will be the eleventh Delfino 95 unit, a 29-metre fibreglass yacht. The sleek and dynamic exterior lines by Giorgio M. Cassetta are perfectly aligned with light-filled interiors developed by the Benetti Interior Style department.
The naval architecture was developed by Pierluigi Ausonio’s firm Plana. The yacht can accommodate 10 passengers in four guest cabins on the Lower Deck and the full-beam master stateroom in the bow area on the Main Deck.
The owner of Delfino 95 is SeaNet Europe Ltd., a leading yacht co-ownership company, which recently signed a partnership agreement with Benetti and has a constantly growing fleet based in the Mediterranean, the United States and the Caribbean, including four Azimut|Benetti Group yachts.
Benetti will be at the Cannes Yachting Festival from September 7 to 12, stand SYE 211 + SYE 032 (SYE – Super Yacht Extension).
