The Paris Boat Show, on stage until 12 December, was an opportunity to present the new Capelli Tempest 1000 WA, powered by two powerful and technological 250 horsepower V6s by Yamaha, as a world premiere.
The introduction of the new Stradivari range has given the shipyard the opportunity to further investigate these standards, to increase stylistic research and attention to detail on other boats in the TOP LINE range as well.
The desire was to revolutionize a very successful historical model, completely revising its volumes and lines, with a nod to the characteristics and liveability of the Luxury line.
Sport design
The exteriors of the boat emphasize the evolution of this new model: the taut and slender lines give a sporty and elegant feel, the fiberglass bow, in which the two tubulars converge, increases the space dedicated to the bow area of the boat.
The deck layout is characterized by a large aft bridge, which underlines the strong family feeling of the Capelli range. This area allows you to navigate in complete safety and to seat up to 8 people comfortably.
This area can be converted into a sunbathing area through the use of the central folding table and the additional cushion (STD), it is also possible to recline the stern backrest in three different positions to further increase the surface (total area 3.5 square meters).
The guide bench, with a clean and linear design, completes the stern cockpit set-up. Here there is a 65 lt refrigerator, a generously sized sink with removable cutting board, thus allowing to double the usable surface (it can be converted into an ice compartment).
Dashboard
Moving towards the bow you reach the helm station, where the two seats (distinctive of the Capelli range) complete the set-up of the bench.
The refinement of the study of ergonomics has made it possible to achieve full functionality and usability of each command in the various driving positions: regardless of the owner’s height, it is possible to fully appreciate these characteristics standing, seated or using the kidney rests of the seats. guide.
The instrument panel is generously sized and allows the installation of instruments up to 16″, in accordance with the increasingly high demands of the market, in combination with the motor instruments selected by the customer.
During the navigation phases it will also be possible to enjoy the protective qualities of the large windshield, completely redesigned and surrounded by stainless steel handrails and plates with personalized “C Capelli” logo.
Capelli Tempest interiors
A double lateral passage to the console allows access to the forward area, framed by the steel pulpit. The area has a chaise longue that can comfortably accommodate two people: side restraints of the seat, cup holders, stereo speakers, will guarantee total relaxation for guests.
Access to the lower deck area is through the sliding door on the side of the driving area. The aesthetics of the deckhouse allowed the cabin to be developed in depth, allowing for greater height over the entire longitudinal development of the lower deck area (max height 1.82 m).
The forward dinette has been designed and sized to accommodate guests more comfortably.
Particular attention was paid to the finishes and the research of materials. Thicker cushions and backrests with contrasting finishes set up this area, like a comfortable domestic sofa.
At the end of the dinette, towards the bow, there is a comfortable open compartment set up with a front mirror, capable of providing an additional feeling of depth to the environment. Below, a double door stowage compartment completes the layout of this area.
On the left side of the cabin, there is a large piece of furniture with a double compartment for storing the galley, it is covered by a complete top in Corian that flows up to the forward dinette area.
A bright space
The large side windows, the upper skylight and the infinity mirror positioned on the bulkhead, guarantee brightness and airiness to the environment, making it possible to appreciate its length and height.
Particular attention was also paid to the artificial lighting of the cabin interior, divided into two different modes. Ambient lights positioned in well-defined areas allow you to recreate a soft and welcoming courtesy lighting, while organic LED ceiling lights facilitate greater internal visibility by illuminating the different rooms of the lower deck area from above.
Great customization
Tempest 1000 WA has distinctive options to complete the set-up.
A new Hard Top with an elusive design but in line with the deck layout will guarantee shade and protection during navigation. In addition, covers are available that can be installed thanks to carbon poles: one for the forward area and one for the aft cockpit.
There is also a fiberglass roll bar, which can be completed by adding a bow and stern awning.
The standard fittings can be enriched thanks to the numerous OPTs in the catalog: ski pole, 220 V system, flexiteek cockpit and stern dashboard cover, awning, VTR roll bar, T top, canvas with console and bench, awning.
The maximum installable motorization, equal to 2 x 300 hp, guarantees a wide range of power that is optimally combined with the highly performing hull.
The standard color is proposed with ivory fiberglass, Orca Pennel & Flipo 1670 dtex tubular in off-white, fabric cushions and contrasting dove-gray ski.
