A sporty character, pared down lines and seafaring style: Itama 45RS is the contemporary restyling of this classic boat imbued with values that reflect the brand’s style.

Designed in collaboration with the Ferretti Group Strategic Product Committee, led by Piero Ferrari, and the Group Engineering Department, this 13-metre-plus yacht has the aesthetic and structural features of its predecessor, Itama 45S, as well as offering powerful engines and versatile spaces for a good liveability on board.

Features of Itama 45RS

This yacht features numerous aesthetic elements shared with the previous S version, including the concealed hydraulic gangway integrated into the hull and the stern swimming platform that can be lowered into the water to launch and land the tender.

The stern area has been brought up to date with a change in the transom angle that brings dynamism to the exterior lines. This architectural interplay creates space for a practical locker in which to store water toys and the hand shower.

Yacht’s interiors

The cabinet doors are in an elegant walnut essence, and by contrast, they stand out against the combination of white lacquered wood and teak essence flooring in the optional version or with carpet in the standard version.

This decor, taken together with the large windows, gives the setting a light and airy feel. Owners can choose to order their yacht with the owner suite and a guest cabin, or with only the owner suite in the bow and a more spacious dinette.

While remaining true to classic Itama style, the restyling of this model has focused attention on comfort, with additions that create more liveability on board.

The first is the table in the cockpit, now available in varnished teak; the second is the introduction of flush teak hatches on the foredeck; and lastly the new layout of the bathroom, where the restyling is most extensive. The bathroom area in fact becomes more spacious and liveable, thanks to the free-standing crystal glass shower enclosure with a stainless steel frame, an overhead shower head and a courtesy wand, as well as a porthole to let light into the area.

A new helm station

Comfort and practicality characterised the new design of the helm station dashboard, which has two 12-inch screens – 16-inch in the optional version for easy cruising – a carbon instrument panel, and a steel yacht wheel clad in fabric coordinated with the outdoor upholstery or alternatively, on request, in teak.

Itama 45RS is equipped with a pair of Cummins engines rated 550 mhp and has a top speed of 34 knots. The compact propulsion system results in plenty of technical space on board and has in-line transmission, as is the case on most Itama models.
