At METSTRADE 2025, Honda Marine outboard engines take centre stage as Honda Marine Europe showcases its significantly enhanced 4-cylinder and V6 outboard engines, reinforcing its leadership in the high-power outboard engines segment.

The upgraded 4-cylinder Honda BF115, BF135 and BF150 engines, together with the V6 Honda BF200, BF225 and BF250 engines, integrate several new components and leading design elements to further enhance engine performance, durability, comfort, style, fuel efficiency and ease of use and maintenance. These innovations confirm Honda’s strong positioning among advanced 4-cylinder and V6 outboards.

Offering boaters and water sport enthusiasts key benefits to improve their experience on the water, the new Honda Marine outboard engines feature upgraded technology, additional exclusive Honda features and a sleek new exterior.

The enhanced Honda high-power 4-cylinder and V6 outboards are offered in the signature Honda Marine colours of Aquamarine Silver, Grand Prix White and a new Sporty White colour, underlining the brand’s focus on performance and design.

UPDATED DESIGN

Ideal for large boats for leisure, sport and commercial use, the new models incorporate a stylish design that follows the form and function of the award-winning flagship Honda BF350 V8. With a superb fit and finish, and high-rigidity parts that stand up to harsh conditions, these high-power outboard engines are available with either Honda drive-by-wire or mechanical control systems.

Drive-by-wire models are updated to include the same automatic tilt, trim support and cruise control features found on the flagship BF350 V8, extending cutting-edge solutions across the range of 4-cylinder and V6 outboards.

ENHANCED PERFORMANCE AND EASY OPERATION

Honda Marine has updated a significant number of features on its high-power 4-cylinder and V6 models to improve engine performance and make operation easy and intuitive, strengthening its offer in Honda Marine Europe outboards.

Upgraded components ensure greater durability and reliability, while further updates have been made for easier engine installation and maintenance, enhancing overall usability for both private and professional users.

The outboards incorporate exclusive Honda technologies, including:

  • Boosted Low Speed Torque (BLAST™), which advances the ignition curve for dramatically improved holeshot performance;
  • Variable Valve Timing & Electronic Control (VTEC®), providing smooth power delivery throughout the engine’s operating range, delivering more power with increased fuel efficiency.

The new Sporty White colour will also be available for Honda Marine’s most powerful and technologically advanced BF350 V8 outboard, further expanding the visual identity of Honda Marine outboard engines.

The enhanced high-power models will be available through Honda Marine Europe’s dealer network from early 2026, confirming the brand’s long-term commitment to innovation in high-power outboard engines.

COLLABORATIONS WITH BOATBUILDERS

Honda Marine marks a new stage in its European growth with upgraded 4-cylinder and V6 outboards, reinforcing its mission to engage more closely with customers and partners across the marine industry.

By offering smart technology and turnkey boat-engine solutions, the company is expanding alliances with trusted builders, strengthening strategic collaborations and reinforcing the presence of Honda Marine Europe outboards in both leisure and professional boating sectors.
