Furuno is expanding its NavNet TZtouch Multi-Function Display range with the introduction of the TZtouchE series, a platform that brings advanced marine navigation systems capabilities to vessels of all sizes, thanks to a simplified interface and compact hardware.

The series has been designed for recreational mariners who require sophisticated tools yet seek a system that is more accessible in terms of cost, space, and configuration. With TZtouchE, Furuno offers a practical solution that integrates professional-grade features, including the ultra-detailed TZ MAPS charting system, positioning it among the most innovative yacht navigation technology solutions on the market.

Two Models, Maximum Installation Flexibility
The range comprises two models: the TZT9E (9”) and TZT13E (13”). Both are network-capable multi function display for boats, compatible with all radar sensors in the DRS series. They feature an integrated sonar, while networked sonars may also be utilised, and they can be further integrated with TZtouchXL systems.
Thanks to their compact design, these new displays can be installed on consoles that cannot accommodate the 10” and 13” Hybrid Touch TZtouchXL models. Additionally, they are fully compatible with Furuno remote controls, ensuring seamless operation and reinforcing their role within modern marine electronics systems.

Advanced Platform with Integrated Functionality

Each model features a high-brightness multi-touch display, fully legible even in direct sunlight. The graphical interface follows the architecture of the TZtouchXL platform, optimised to provide speed and simplicity of use.
Technical specifications include:
• Advanced chartplotter
• Internal TruEcho CHIRP and CW sonar (300W / 600W / 1kW)
• CHIRP Side-Scan at 230kHz or 455kHz
This configuration eliminates the need for external modules in many installations and delivers performance typical of higher-end systems in a compact unit, making it ideal for next-generation boat navigation equipment.

Comprehensive Network Integration

For those seeking a scalable solution, the TZT9E and TZT13E can be integrated with all current NavNet DRS radars and key Furuno network sonar modules, including:
• Multi-Beam Sonar DFF3D
• CSH-10 Searchlight Sonar
• DFF Series
The system also enables advanced tools such as Risk Visualizerɛ, which assesses route hazards, and AI Avoidance Routeɛ, which recommends alternative paths when potential dangers are detected. These functions provide the captain with enhanced decision-making support, improving operational safety and confirming Furuno’s leadership in yacht navigation technology.
