Yacht awning systems and telescopic shading solutions for superyachts

Share:

Foresti & Suardi develops advanced yacht awning systems for superyachts, designed to combine functionality, lightweight construction and high-end marine engineering. Made of carbon fiber with matt or glossy painted finishes, these systems are engineered for durability in harsh marine environments and seamless integration on board.

A key feature of the system is the internal 1:5 hoist mechanism (1:3 for 40 mm diameter poles), which ensures easy awning tensioning, automatic locking and reliable operation in all conditions. The system is available in multiple lengths and diameters, including divisible versions that allow quick installation and removal across different deck or wall mounting points.

The range also includes telescopic shading poles for yachts, designed with internal pulley systems that allow precise tension control and automatic locking. The height-adjustable structure, operated through a rotatable internal mechanism, enables flexible shade positioning and compact storage when not in use.

Installation bases are engineered in multiple configurations, including silver anodized aluminum, black anodized aluminum and polished stainless steel solutions. These are designed for deck mounting via countersunk screws or rear threaded bush systems, ensuring structural stability and ease of maintenance. Some models include removable caps with folding handles and integrated water drainage systems for improved functionality.

Lateral installation bases in black anodized aluminum provide quick-release systems that allow fast setup and removal, improving onboard efficiency and reducing deck clutter after use.

The system is completed by AISI 316L stainless steel removable curtain hooks, available in mirror-polished or black painted finishes, designed for secure fastening and rapid deployment through quick attachment mechanisms.

Finally, dedicated storage supports for poles, made of black anodized aluminum with elastic fastening systems, ensure safe and organized storage inside onboard lockers, preventing movement during navigation and maintaining order in technical spaces.

This integrated approach positions Foresti & Suardi awning solutions as part of a broader category of high-performance marine shading systems, where design, materials and usability converge to meet the requirements of modern yacht and superyacht architecture.
