Shipyards and nautical state schools cooperate for job placement

ITALIAN SUPER YACHT LIFE Foundation, made up by all Nautical state schools in Tuscany and led by Nautical State School “Galilei-Artiglio” in Viareggio and supported by the main companies of the nautical field, has opened the applications for the course “Senior technician for passengers and cargo mobility, sailing and equipment handling – ship operator (officer cadet) (5th level EQF), financed by Tuscan Region through Regional Operational Programme ESF. ISYL project is supported by Navigo, innovation and nautical development centre, and by Assindustria in Lucca. Shipyards involved in the project are Benetti, Codecasa, Overmarine and Perini Navi. The course will last 2000 hours, 800 of which will be of internship. The public selection for 20 students is open for citizens of the European Union who are between 18 and 29 years old, have a secondary education diploma and have applied to Sea-faring people. Classes will start in December 2015 and will finish in December 2017. The course will take place at Nautical State School Galilei-Artiglio. Applications must be submitted by December 6th 2015. The application form can be downloaded from the website www.isyl.it and must be submitted with all the attachments no later than December 6th 2015 at 24.00, on penalty of disqualification.
