A new superyacht by Baglietto, the project 10219, has been put into water and is ready to be launched. The design and build have been carried out and completed over the past two years since February 2014, when the owner signed a delivery contract with the Italian shipyard.
Project 10219 is a 54 metre displacement yacht with steel hull and aluminium superstructure. Well integrated with naval architecture by Baglietto is both the exterior and interior design by Francesco Paszkowski Design.
The yacht is inspired by Baglietto’s 53 metre line, whose best examples are Blue Scorpion, Gitana (now rechristened Blanca) and Baraka (now Burkut): the exterior lines have nonetheless been restyled to better fit the higher volume of this new model. The vessel is powered by two Caterpillar 3512B engines, which allow for a maximum speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 13 knots.
