Nemo is a new 44 metre yacht concept developed by MC Yacht & Co International for Ocea Yacht, leading shipyard in France for building military vessels and pleasure yachts in aluminium, featuring a design by Fulvio De Simoni.
The original idea behind Nemo was to create a deep-sea explorer yacht, with room enough to carry large tenders, sailing dinghies and jet skis, while designing a true ‘floating resort’ with all comforts at disposal to relax when at anchor.
The vessel features ample spaces with accomodation for all accessories an owner might wish. Over 300 square meters of open-air spaces, a 25sqm beach club, a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, floating and water toys: everything on board Nemo is designed to give her owner the possibility to enjoy a luxurious and relaxed lifestyle. Indoor spaces include a 30sqm loggia, lounges, wet bars, a 75sqm master suite with his- and her- bathrooms, a gym, and up to five cabins with private en-suite for guests. Nemo is a fully custom Superyacht: everything, from the layout and décor to the propulsion and on-board entertainment, can be chosen by her owner.
Aluminium hull and superstructure allow for gross tonnage under 500 tons. Reduced weight and a contained length give the vessel full freedom to sail and reach the most hidden places at sea, without compromising comfort and spaciousness, and featuring amenities normally found on over 60-meter long yachts.
Nemo will be powered by two relatively small engines, with a total horsepower of 2800 mhp, allowing her to reach 16 knots in fast-displacement pace, with a cruise speed around 12 knots.
Today, the first model of the Nemo Class, the 44-meter-long aluminium yacht is ready to be built.
