The fifth edition of the Vela Festival in Santa Margherita Ligure was a real success, with more than 15,000 visitors. And obviously we of Contec were there.
We met yachting enthusiasts at the stand we shared with Bcool Engineering, which like ourselves distributes Webasto Marine products, they nationally and we regionally. We presented visitors with complete solutions for comfort and efficiency on board, products specifically designed for yachting but also for the marine market generally.
Useful and interesting products such as the Webasto Air Top EVO and Thermo Pro parent water heaters, with their new Multicontrol digital programmers, ideas for comfort such as Webasto compact S-Series and chiller C-Series conditioners, with their new My Touch control panels and new A-Series fancoils, all brand-new products which, before this Festival, had only been previewed at METS and Seatec.
We also presented the Indel Webasto Marine refrigeration and boiler systems, with the new Cruise Inox Clean Touch fridges, a brand-new range created on the basis of the Cruise Elegance series, with models from 42 to 130 L just launched on the market to innovate the earlier Cruise Inox models, which had long been synonymous with robustness and efficiency.
Also on show were the Efoy Comfort combustible cell batteries from SFC, for which we are official distributor in Italy, and we also showed off the features of Whisper Power on-board generators and energy management systems, a result of the very recent contract as official distributor obtained by Bcool Engineering under which we at Contec are the distributors in Liguria and Piedmont.
But the most important aspect was the chance to interact with the public and feel the pulse of the market that is increasingly interesting for us, allowing us to confirm the enormous potential of the sector.
