The first edition of the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous starts this Thursday, on May 11th, in the Port of Viareggio: four days dedicated to the nautical sector and to the high-end industry.
Across 117 stands, the exhibition will include onboard domotics, new satellite systems, mechanical engineering of the best and most utilized brands such as Isotta Fraschini, Volvo Penta, Cgt, Man and Kohler.
Seventy boats, among which several models coming from foreign shipyards (including the American brand Betram Yachts, directly from Fort Lauderdale) will be afloat in the Marina of Viareggio.
In the European and Italian dock the largest yachts will be moored, together with super rubber boats, sleek-lined tenders offering impressive performances and a lot of prestigious and yet less expensive boats, even though not for research and quality.
Anvera Shipyard presents its latest Anvera 55, which has been defined the Ferrari of the sea: she is “a sort of a supercar of the sea”, sportive and superfast, but at the same time comfortable and practical.
The Ferretti Group will have its newest 20-metre fast patrol boat FSD195 debut in the Italian waters, in the armoured chase boat version, available for individual trials. Built in the shipyard’s facilities in Cattolica, she is capable of a top speed of more than 50 knots and has a range of 500 nautical miles.
The Versilia Yacht Rendez-vous will also features many other attractions for visitors, including interactive technological installations which allow visitors to “walk on the water”, as well as to follow the stars, and read virtual books from a digital bookcase.
Lineapelle has installed a living-room of 100 sqm with the aim to “communicate the fashion identity of the Italian leather destined to the superyacht interior design”. Two artisans will give a demonstration of the hand-made sewing technique of a sailing steering wheel in high-quality leather. Bulgari will bring to the show the line created in collaboration with Boutsen Design. 16 shoe-makers will be in a competition to create the best jewel-thongs. Technogym will showcase all the state-of-the-art onboard gym and fitness equipment…
A show for real connoisseurs, as well as for people operating in the sector, which will measure its success on the number of orders counted at the end of its first edition.
